Apostelhoeve Müller-Thurgau is a delicious white wine, produced by the oldest active wine estate in the Netherlands: De Apostelhoeve. Located on the Louwberg south of Maastricht, this winery has enjoyed perfect conditions for growing grapes since 1970.
The Müller-Thurgau grape is known for its fresh and aromatic character. And that is exactly what characterizes the Apostelhoeve Müller-Thurgau.
Pour the Apostelhoeve Müller-Thurgau and enjoy the light yellow color with a hint of green. The scent is a celebration of spring blossoms, citrus fruit such as lime and grapefruit, green apple and a hint of muscat grape. Once on the tongue you taste the freshness that the scent already promised. Elegant acidity provides a lively taste, while a subtle minerality adds complexity. The aftertaste is dry and pleasantly long.

This wine is versatile and can be served as an aperitif or with lighter dishes. Think of salads, fish dishes, shellfish or poultry. This Müller-Thurgau also comes into its own with a pan of mussels.

Apostelhoeve
The Dutch wine tradition, which originated in Roman times, gradually made way for other forms of agricultural activity after the Middle Ages. Until 1970 when the first vines returned to the southern slopes of the Jeker valley in Maastricht. Here, on one of Limburg's most beautiful spots on top of the Louwberg, the Netherlands' oldest and one of the largest wine estates in the Netherlands, De Apostelhoeve, is enthroned.
This wine estate, now over 10 hectares in size, produces six beautiful, dry white wines, namely: the Müller-thurgau, Auxerrois, Riesling, Pinot-gris, Pinot-gris barriques and the Apostelhoeve Cuvée XII plus two sparkling wines: Apostelhoeve Riesling Brut and Apostelhoeve Cuvée XII Brut.
